Around a year ago now I had a devastating discovery. For a while I had been suffering with very bad stomach pains and after being fobbed off by a few doctors telling me it was either IBS or a gluten intolerance, I decided to take measures into my own hands. See, I knew it was neither of these conditions, but I just couldn’t work out for the life of me what it actually was. After months and months of trying to work out what was causing my awful tummy pains, I finally got to the bottom of it. Coffee. My all time favourite drink, my saviour in the mornings and my best friend during a bad day had turned against me, and it hurt. It hurt a lot.
December is finally here and with that is the perfect excuse to drink crazy amounts of mulled wine without being judged! Well that’s what I like to tell myself when I’m half way through my fifth glass and seriously contemplating a sixth and maybe even a seventh. Well they don’t say tis the season to be jolly for nothing do they?
